many people are either alergic to them or just plain dont like them (either or). what do you prefer?

I started raising coturnix quail this fall for their eggs, since chicken hens are too loud for my situation. I now prefer quail eggs to any other kind of eggs because of their small size. My reasoning is the same for prefering cherry tomatos - their small size makes them fun to eat, since you can eat the whole thing in one bite. I particularly love to hard boil and pickle quail eggs.

Quail eggs are very good. But also very expensive (compared with chicken eggs). They tend to have a more robust flavor and make a very good complimenting protein for alot of gamier dishes. Roasted venison tenderloin covered in a fried quail egg is one of my favorites.
