Its seems pickles are the only product I know of, that comes in glass jars only. Other things like jam, vinegar, mayonnaise, ketchup, or salad dressing come in both glass and plastic bottles. Why are pickles only available in glass jars?

The same can be said for many processed foods and drink that they add sugar to. Did they ever stop to think that perhaps some people like the taste of tea, coffee, cranberry and chococlate and that we don't want the flavor totally covered up by sugar?

Very important question. Also, if you had to make a vegetable army what you make one out of?
These kind of question need answers. Who knows when they might come in handy? And if everyone turned into vegetables, I would then know which people/vegetables to pick for my army... Not that I am planning to turn everyone into vegetables or anything... *Suspicious whilsting*
No prizes for guessing correctly that I am a vegetarian.

I am no betty crocker, but I followed the directions... and all the ingredients I used were new (beacuse I had nothing to bake with) But the chocolate chip cookies I made last night were awful... they tasted like flour, I used flour that said perfect for baking on it.... is there an explanation why the flour taste was so strong?

I'm not new to the kitchen. I know carrots take longer to cook than other vegies. For this reason when I cook carrots with other vegies I cut the other veggies very large to equal out the cooking times. I made a pot roast today and I had to sepperate out the carrots and boil them in the juices. They have been boiling for like 20 minutes after bing in the oven for an hour and a half. They are still raw. What's going on here? Has this happened to anyone else?
