Most of the major chains from coast to coast have either there own store brand organic brands of certain grocery items or now Zehrs, A&P and Safeway have a whole section(s) devoted to organic products and most have a section in the produce department for organic fruits and veg.
It is not as wide spread here, I live in Toronto, and with the natural food and health food stores in town, along with the Kensington and St Lawrence markets, here any thing is possible, but most larger citys like Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and some on the East Coast would have more as time goes on.
The problem is is it really organic as determine by the Organic Food Association's standards. I am a former chef and have been out of the trade for 10 yrs now, so when I was cooking in hotels and restaurants, it was not a thing at that time.
