Are they really skin off of pigs?

I eat them and love them.
But if I knew what they were really made of, there's a large chance that I wouldn't eat them anymore. So if you find out, don't tell me!

It's really the skin, cooked until they are pork rinds. They are not gross, but I don't like to eat them. They could be made from the ears of the pig also.

They're great... especially the spicy kind.
Yes, it's the skin off of pigs.
They also have pork rinds with some meat still attached. I've seen this in the South. Those are tasty too. Just think crispy bacon! Yummmm!

Pork skin/rinds are nasty. i used to date a girl that would carry her own hot sauce in my car. Then we'd stop some where and she'd buy a bag. Then pour the hot suace in the bag and eat the skins right out of the bag.
Maybe its this traumatic experience that causes me not to like pork skins

I love skin chips, and yes they really are the skin off the pig, the better quality ones have some fat still attached. that'd be amazing if they did make them out of chicken. damn.

Im not sure if they r really skin off pigs- God I hope not! I like them every so often but I only like the HOT AND SPICY ones! yummy

You mean Pork Rinds and yes I do and they are made of pork skin. There good.

I cannot force myself to eat them. And yes in my store they are pig skin deep fried.

I eat them...Wise hot and spicy while semi-difficult to find are my favorites.
BBQ and Salt and Vinegar flavors are good too...not a fan of just plain pork rinds though..
