Why do we get turkey "farts",,also why are we sleepy after eating a meal of turkey?

Everyone seems to have the traditional turkey roast. Why? It's not that great a meat, it's quite gristly, it's not that exciting, and any other time of year it would be just about the cheapest poultry you could buy. I would much rather have duck or chicken or a rib of beef.

Most bread here is of the pre-cut toaster variety. How come no bakeries have started making European style black bread? It can't be for a lack of ingredients...

Hey folks, I am making a salad and opened up a new container of crumbled gorgonzola cheese. It says this is a 90 day aged gorgonzola, so is it ok to eat it with the fuzz on it? I get confused with these moldy-already cheeses. help!

as i am chinese, my family will be having a chinese soup made with white lentils, chinese mushrooms to name, a roast chicken in place of a turkey, some vegetables, namely brocoli in oyster sause, and possibly some egg fried rice and some roast duck as well, alongside steamed boiled rice. is anyone else not going for turkey, brussell sprouts, carrots, gravy, xmas pudding etc?

Ok, so for thoses who haven't noticed, Christmas is tomarrow and I have to fold a dozen napkins in a delightful fashion for company is comming over for dinner. It has to be child proof which means no glasses w/ napkins inside. I want something elegent, but easy. The table cloth being used is a dark green with poinsetta print. My cloth napkins are white. I was hoping to do something floral with them. I need expert advice from some who works on a cruise ship or at a resturante. Please give a website link with graphics and step by step instructions! i love it when i take a dump and one big hard chunk comes out in one piece, cuz i hardly have to wipe my butt.

but i hate it when it comes out all soft and mushy and it takes forever to wipe my but. plus my mom always complaints about me using up all the toilet paper.

i'm trying to pay off my credit cards, so i'm trying to save money so i wonna use less toilet paper.

i already decided i will only shower every other day so i can save on soap.
