Oats are a grain. Probably goes in carbohydrates. When people eat them, they are usually cereals and breads.

Horses like them as treats.

An oat is in the grains food group. Or atleast I think thats what its called. An oat is a type of grain. If you oatmeal, the little flat grainish things are oats.

lambs eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy....
It is a grain!!!! It is grown and harvest from a plant and dried to make cereal.

oat is a grain. it's what you see the farmers in movies chewing on. you make oatmeal out of it. and oats are in frosted wheaties and wheat thins.
