As every year in the UK there is a big build up for the New Years eve parties etc. You buy your pub tickets and club tickets but somehow it always ends up as an anti-climax. Pubs put their prices up and you can't just randomly roam the town into any pub you feel like.... what should me and my mates do this year so we're no so disappointed.

I filled a glass bowl with green beans and put the bowl in the microwave. Within seconds the beans began sparking and sizzling. I inspected the beans, they looked normal. I tasted the beans, normal. Okay, so whats going on? Anyone privy to this mystery?

I love my Frank's Red Hot. I use it on almost any food. I just cut up some cheese and splashed that good stuff on there. Yum!

There is a seeming proliferation of concept stores that retail sports products in their bars or restos. While it is convenient the choices are quite limited.

I am in the R/D part of opening a restaurant. I am thinking of a tea house with a wide varieity of teas. Also it will be an american style bistro serving Breakfast and lunch. The menu would consist of common items but with a flair. Like an eggs beneidict on grilled polenta rounds with panchetta and topped with a sundried tomatoe holindaise. Or grilled duck breast sub on onion and walnut roll. Then after lunch service is done would stay open for 1to 2 hours for tea. having several types of loose tea (15) you would be able to order tea for one or for two or three or what ever and it would include Tea, pastrys, tea sandwiches, and assorted fruits for the table. Nice and relaxed but not stuffy like an English tea service, more American. If this was in your town or nieghborhood would you go once, twice, or on a regular bases.
