i'm quite an accomplished cake baker, though usually i dont decorate them as they get eaten too quickly to bother, but im really interested in giving it a go. Does anyone have any good advice on books, shops, best equipment etc, to help get me started? I'm a full time mum so college isnt an option,i'll have to teach myself. Cheers!

I eat with my knife in my right (when i use a knife, otherwise its a fork in the right) whereas my husband uses his knife in his left.

I got a "Sharp" brand Microwave and all I want to do is pour some milk into a bowl and then heat it up in the Microwave. I did this before and there was something white and booger looking in the milk. What temperature do I set the microwave to make me some hot milk without that nasty looking booger thing in it???....I HATE tap water and I don't want to drink tap water. Please people I'm really hungary right now for hot milk with crackers.

I have a lot of weird quirks when it comes to my food. From the certain way I like to assemble a sandwich or the way I always eat my pancakes or the only way I cook loose yellow corn (this drives my hubby crazy) or how I make my grilled cheese.
