It may be the kind of cheese you have tried in the past. There are all kinds of tastes and textures. Was it the taste, smell or texture that turned you off. Perhaps trying a milder cheese would help.
Or - you could be lactose intolerant, and in that case - stay away from it!

I love some types of cheese and others I can't stand. Just a matter of taste and preference, like any other food.

I don't mind the taste of cheese...it's the smell I am not fond of! I usually stick with medium cheddar, mozzarella, or parmigiano.

Dunno, it depends with your taste buds, I think. Besides, smell has got to do something with taste so maybe there's some connection with the smell of cheese to that.
