I went to JOE's CRABSHACK on Hwy. 280 on Friday evening.
The crabcake was bland, the coleslaw was bland, and the muffin/roll was bland. The strawberry daquiri was slightly sour...not tangy...sour! I felt let down and I wanted to throw my plates and drinking glasses back into the kitchen!

For many years (prior to 1970) Dunkin Doughnuts did not open a shop in the western part of the U.S.
I remember reading something about a Beaumont, Texas location.
The Dunkin Donuts Headquarters wasn't much help--so much for knowledge of their business and history.
Maybe this will make a good "Trivial Pursuit" question.

When you go food shopping do you buy the no brand foods or the label brand foods? I just bought some kroger brand pop tarts for the kids by mistake since I thought they was the name brand pop tarts. They are not half bad.

I am well aware of the health benefits of organic food, but I was wondering if most people can taste a difference between the two. I am also curious about the taste of organic meat (100% grass fed cows, no injected hormones/antibiotics, etc) vs regular meat.
