Yes. It was awful. Coca Cola Classic is still the best.

Coke 2 actually started in the 80's when they changed the type of sugar in coke to save money. The Coca Cola company claimed it tasted exactly the same, but everyone new it didn't and complained, so they brought back the old formula as "Coke Classic". A few people liked the new kind better so they kept it and marketed it seperately. Tastes flat to me. Both kinds of coke will eat away your guts, but the original has more kick.

I drank just regular coca-cola since the 80's until late 90's. Now I like Pepsi. I don't think I ever remember seeing coke 2. It must have been a big city drink. In the country, we just had coca-cola.
