I love this food and I've been trying to imitate but no success. Could it be a special flour? Please answer only if you really know. I don't want to waste my effort experimenting again.

sometimes in a middle eastern restaurant, I'll see that they have chicken in what looks like a large metal vertical skewer. It almost looks like a big hunk of chicken piled on top of one another. The beef looks the same way, and when someone orders it, they just carve the meat and sservee it.

Does anyone know how they get the meat like this or if you could do that at home somehow on a smaller scale? it's sooo good!

I had the immense pleasure, while visiting Brazilia, Brazil, of enjoying a Portuguese pizza and I've been craving it since like a woman on a pregnancy crave hunt.
Instead of a tomato sauce, it was white and creamy, had a white cheese, though I doubt it was mozzarela, a beautiful sausage that was chopped and sprinkled around the top of the pizza as well as what I would assume was chopped quail eggs. There were also whole unpitted queen olives. I remember the pizza as being quite salty. Yummers!
I have never in my life tasted a more divine pizza and I want it and I want it now.
Does anyone know what kind of pizza I'm talking about and do you have a recipe for it?
I would give up my fourth born child (which will never happen, of course, I'm cut, tied AND burned) for this recipe. I'm craving it badly!!

I am having 8 guests (total) over for dinner. How many cups of rice vs. how many cups of water do I use? I do not want my rice to come out too hard or too soggy. Any suggestions.

What do you eat them with? Theyre really small but when you fry them they get big and crispy. I found them in a mexican fruit stand.

I eat a lot of very spicy food including very hot curries etc. My freind has recently been diagnosed with a stomach ulser and the doctor blames this on his diet, which is similar to mine.
I want to know apart from the risk of putting on weight, are hot curries bad for you? and why?
