I am not hispanic but i love mexican meals. I wanted to learn how to cook real mexican dinners. My husband is half Hispanic but he really doesnt know any good ones. All he knows is Beef tips and Rice or Pot Roast and Rice Or chili and RICE. I am sick of regular old rice. Id love to learn to make Mexican Rice and Cheese enchilladas and stuffed bell pepers( forgot what there called) and i Love queso but i heard that americans came up with that. I dont want to use Velveeta. It just doesnt taste good. Anyway. thankyou for your replies to this.

why is there such a thing called "Jamaican Black Beans" when there are no back beans that come from Jamaica? Does anyone know the reasoning behind this? i have a friend from Jamaica and he has told me there are no black beans that are produced in Jamaica

It seems so mysterious. Curry with all these stuff mixed in and I dont know what it is makes me feel sick. I am frightened of indian food and we all have heard the tales of what the waiters sometimes deposit into the curry. These things have happened and so I cannot in good conscience eat indian food ever ever again. It can stay a mystery as far as I care because I dont want any indian food.

1. Sweet & Sour fried King prawn balls in batter £4.10
2. Mixed vegetables with kung po sauce £3.40
3. Szechaun Beef £4.30
4. Chilli Garlic King Prawn (hot) £4.50
5. Crispy fried king prawn cantonese style with fried rice £5.10

starters & extras:
6. Pancake roll (spring roll) £1.50
7. Curry & fried rice in tray £2.50
8. Egg fried rice - extra portion - £1.50

Total: £26.90p

Should I buy this large order or not? Do you recommend I change any of the dishes. If so, what should I have in place of it?

At work the other day someone offered me a taste of homemade Persian food, it was a barbequed meat dish with rice...the rice is what I am curious about, it was so aromatic and pretty! There were little yellow threads and fuschia dots in it that stained the paper plate bright pink after we microwaved it. Does anyone know what this is and how to make this rice? It was delicious!
