What are these Salmonella rolls my friends keep telling me about???

Anna K- If you hate Chinese food and want that banned, why are you wondering about Japanese food???

Maybe because I'd rather have RAW FISH over FRIED RATS, DOGS OR CATS.

Salmonella rolls are only available in America. As usual, they take the basic notion of another country's cuisine and then twist it into something terrifying - or in some cases, simply made of cardboard..!

Next time you're looking at a packet of salmonella rolls in your local supermarket, just turn your head to the left and you'll see a huge pile of micro-waveable BSE burgers. And if you turn your head to the right, you'll see mounds of plastic 'cheese'.

This is America's contribution to international fare - "God help America!!"

Oh, and to answer the main part of your question, yes - Japanese food IS tasty!

I love Japanese food and it's not all raw you know. And Japanese steakhouses have some yummy steak. Try some California rolls or something, they seem to be most popular and I always get some. The best thing at the local sushi place I like to order is spicy calamari (squid) Now that is some good stuff and is indeed cooked.

Try going with a friend who likes that sort of food. I know a girl from Japan who's here as an exchange student. I would love to go to the sushi place with her. And make sure it's a real sushi place. Like my favorite place is owned by a really sweet Japanese family. And don't go to those Yummy Japan places they have in food courts. Nastiest sushi EVER!

You should check out the kinds of things that they cook for yourself....
And really, what's to say the local white guy owner/chef in the diner down the street isn't cooking rats? Read the reports in the newspapers. You might be suprised and never want to eat out again.

And like I said before, if you don't like it don't eat it. Different cultures like different things. Over in Asian countries, it is perfectly normal for them to eat things such as dogs. People in Europe eat Frogs and cow's Tongues. Ever heard of Tripe - that's cow's stomach.

You can always become a vegan.

Seriously, I LOVE it. They are not salmonella rolls. lmao
I eat sushi about 3x a month and have never been sick. It is very healthy actually. Low in sugar, fat and calories.

I wish I could go get some right now.

Sigh...again, contrary to popular believe, most Japanese food are cooked and it's not just fish they eat. I also assume you don't have a Benyhana's Japanese grill around your neighborhood.

They also have awsome soup noodles, tempura(battered fried food), charcoal grill and teriyaki meats like pork and chicken. A deluxe combo Japanese bento is a down right work of art and looks almost too pretty too eat.

BTW, don't knock it until you try it. It's amazing what you can do with a little garlic and chili to make just about any meat edible.

I think Japanese food is very tasty. I think if you are wondering about it you should try a little at a time or maybe go with a friend who like this type of cuisine and they can help guide you.

Go to a Japanese restaurant and try for yourself.

I tell you something.
Japanese beef steaks are better than Sushi or Sashimi.
They are Yummmy~~
And American steaks are also nice. It's little hard 2 chew though.
Japanese beef are soft.

I like to eat fishes with Tempura fries.

EXCELLENT! My friend is 1/2 japanese and I would go to her house and her mother would cook up the greatest meals! I had soup with tofu in it that I now can't get enough of!!!!!
