Steamed broccoli with the following sauce.

Normandy Sauce

2 tbl lemon juice
4 tbl heavy cream
1/2 tsp finely grated lemon zest 1 tablespoon chopped chives
1 x salt and freshly ground black pepper

Beat together the lemon juice cream lemon zest chives salt and pepper to taste in a bowl until well blended and creamy.
Cover and chill in the leftover in the refrigerator.
This simple but sumptuous creamy sauce is splendid chilled and sprinkled over light crisp spring and summer salads that are made with a selection of young leafy vegetables too.
Makes 1/2 cup

Normandy is a region in France where apples are grown. Any Normandy dish has herbs, cream and apples. The herbs are also native of the region.
