This Saturday is my daughter's 13th birthday and all of the family is coming - 25. I tried to get reservations at a restaurant, but the place that we wanted to go can't take such a large group at once. I am already making a big fancy dinner for everyone, so I really don't have the money to do a big lunch. A couple of the people that are coming are vegetarians. The other problem is that my daughter doesn't like sandwiches. Any ideas?

I'm planning my dd's 3 yr old party, w/ the theme of Strawberry Shortcake. It's going to be a noon-2 party, so I wasn't planning to have a lot of food. However, I would like to serve something other than sweets. The girls will all be 4 and younger... any suggestions?

I'm throwing my husband a surprise 23rd birthday party. I already have the alcohol taken care of but now I'm trying to make sure I have all the food in order. I'm planning on having hot dogs, chips, dip, potato salad, cheese and cracker tray, and baked beans. And of course cake. Do you think this would be good. Any suggestions?

I havent got a theme yet, but I really want it to be cold & snowing outside because I love the winter season. It might snow in march, but I know for sure it'll snow in december.
& then maybe we could just go see a movie in march in town.
would that be weird?

I have made sangria before, but I would like to throw in some canned fruit, peaches and mandarin oranges, just because I have them, instead of having to buy some fresh fruit. I also have canned fruit cocktail. I plan on draining all of it before putting it in. Or should I add the syrup too? I will also be using fresh oranges, limes and lemons. Any tips are appreciated!

My compnay has a new Director and she is asking all the branch offices to hold a "meet and greet" so all the local officals can approach her. She has asked specifically for a restuarnt in town to be used. Problem is they can give us the room required but they will not be able to provide food for us, go figure. They say there is no health department regulation preventing us from bringing in food so I guess that is what I will have to do. What I need are easy cocktail type recipes so I can prepare the food. I really feel the need to make an impression since she is the "new boss" but I have a budget of $100 for roughly 20 people. Any ideas?

For our annual Christmas Party, we will be playing a variation on the game "Family Feud." As you may know, this game requires people to guess at that the results of various public survey's. We thought it might be a good idea to post some of those survey questions here, and see what kind of results we get. So please feel free to respond with a single answer choice; all earnest answers are greatly appreciated.

Today's question is any easy one: "Name your favorite kind of cookie!"

(Please keep answers realtively general - not obscure or overly specific. Chocolate Chip and Sugar are good. "Those one peanutty ones my aunt made, that had strawberry jam on the inside" is probablly not a good answer :)

Any viable answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
