for a brunch I would probably try quish maybe spinach and a meat one you could buy the quish already made it soop it into those little pyllo cups they're in the freezer section. no one would ever know. Make some home made peach muffins or whatever u like. have a fruit platter with peices cut in manageble sizes put toothpicks beside the tray. and maybe some cheese and crackers. even have sides of chicken salads and or tuna salads that people could spread on the crackers. Have fun with it . have a few already started so your guest will know what to do. Maybe a party favor could be something as simple as getting really cute tea cups putting a couple different types of tea bags like herbal essence or chamomile in it, along with a little note to your gusts thanking them for attending. add a piece of chocolate and wrap it in pretty cellophane paper and your set. It's not what u spend it is the thought u put in it. And you can get nice little tea cups from your local good weel or a flee market without spending a fortune.

Hello,
Simple sandwiches cut in triangles with different fillings is easy and inexpensive. You could also have cut up fruit and a yogurt dip and vegetables with a cheesy or sour cream dip of some sort.

If you really want to do something a little extra special, have some chocolate fondue. It stays warm throughout the party and you can have simple things to dip like marshmallows, pretzels, fruit, cookies, cubed cake, etc. Mmmmm.

For unique favors, you could get personalized Hershey's kisses or even personalized candy bars. They are pretty reasonable and very very cute.

Congrats on the new baby!

The first site for you is one that has some great, simple finger foods perfect for a shower. This site is also loaded with other shower ideas you might want to look at. The second site has some really cute favor ideas. I don't think you could find anything as cute...this inexpensive.

I would suggest finger sandwhiches (chicken salad, turkey, ham, seafood salad) on those little finger rolls. About two would fill most people up and they're extremely easy to make.

You can make a chicken salad put it in a nice bowl and have some tortilla chips, it's like eating a very small taco salad.
