How well do you know her????
Do you know her likes and dislikes????
So... anyway...
Try getting a couple of nice photo frames or maybe a photo album or scrap book and a disposable camera or even a 35 mm camera (those are cheap now) or a simple digital camera...
A nice vase and fresh flowers.... Tou can´t go wrong with that. I think she would like that...
A nice bottle of tequila and shot glasses... You´ll get the party started again if she opens her gifts at the end of the night...
Take your pick...

Believe me: 30 is not "old".
I read just about all the answers.
I don't know what your relationship is like with this lady, but this is what I would do:
How about you making up a series of "Gift Certificates" or "Coupons" of the things she likes you to do with her and/or things she simply doesn't like to do [wash clothes; vacuuming, etc.] and give them to her with a very nice card.
Dinner at home - with your favorite music and candles - MAYBE a movie? THEN see what happens - or doesn/'t?
Simple, practical and relatively inexpensive, isn't it?
Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed taking the time to answer it!

Depends on how well you know this woman and what your relationship is with her. I would assume you don't know her very well at all otherwise you would get her something that reflects her interests. A bottle of wine is always nice, unless she doesn't drink; chocolates are nice, unless she is on a diet. Since you obviously don't know this woman, after all you are asking strangers what to get her, bring something nice but generic, like a nice card and you could enclose a gift card in it if you like.

does this woman like jewelry? does she like ornaments?
does she have trouble opening jars? is she short?
here some suggestions a bracelet, brooch or pendant you can get them at a Rock & Gem Store cheaper than at a Jewelry store. Ornaments.. of alabaster or porcellin rose or rabbit or little girl might be good? If short a reach tool!
www.doillardaysplus.biz has them! Maybe a purse or waist bag! For someone you don't really know best bet is a deck of cards! Who doesn't play cards?

I would say a bathset, and/or a nice candle set, which personally i like to set up beside the bath. Also perfumes/lotion sets are nice if you know the kinda scetns she is into. Also maybe she collects something, that you could get for her, or something themed with tht, for example i love sheep things, i have sheep teddies and one of my friends got me a sheep rug for my bedroom, i adore it! Simple things are usually most appreciated by people. Good luck. x

A gift card could be inserted into a nice card. Personally I like big Bath and Beauty gift sets. You might think about her favorite perfume... Or you can think of something she may need and get that for her... if you know her well enough....
Best wishes

Pamper her......gift certificate for manicure, pedicure, facial, massage....whichever you can best afford or all! You cannot go wrong with a pamper gift! If not an intimate friend a manicure or pedicure or combo would be lovely and appreciated.
