I am planning a mini "Fairy Birthday Party" for my 5 yr old for January. It's just gunna last for about 30mins because it will be done in school. And there are only going to be 10 kids and some teachers. ^_^

So I would like to ask you guys out some of your ideas that would go with the party theme:

-invitation ideas?
(i have no idea! hehe)

-food?
(im thinking cupcakes with flowers. more ideas anyone?)

-games or activities?
(short and simple ones)

-party favors
(i was planning to give them a baby flower to take home & care)

im so hecked up at work and im really confused.

Thanks for all that can help. ^_^

Just looking for some ideas on what to prepare.
I will do the usual ham & salad but I'm after some more ideas.
Nothing over the top, just something different from the usual.
Thanks in advance for your answers :o)

I have to prepare tables in the simplest way, not too expensive, for monthly senior citizens luncheon. I have ideas for the months that pertain major holidays like Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas,et.

Need ideas for January, April and so forth.

The kids & grandchildren don't eat fish, nor are they willing to taste anything new; I've made turkey, ham & fried chicken in the past, but the side dishes end up being more work than the entree. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

I am having a very formal party, but I don't now where to have it! I live in Minnesota, as you might have guessed, but most of my guests do not and I want to show them a good time with a good meal. Even if it means having dinner at an informal place, I want to get the best possible place so that they want to come back over and over.

I am having a Dallas Cowboy/New Year's Eve party and need some food suggestions. The game is at noon and that means we are going to have to go about 12 hours so I'm looking for hearty suggestions that won't keep me in the kitchen or cooking the whole time!

I will probably be using a serving plate of some kind with a bowl for the cocktail sauce. Thanks for your help.
