For about 100 guest. Everything is taken care of, however the person who was going to do the cooking backed off at the last minute. I can’t spend too much money in catering, I already have a bartender, and I don't want to be in the kitchen all night long either. What are your recommendations for a semi-elegant cocktail party in regards to finger foods, and snacks.

I would prefer to make something, even if it comes out spendy. Any ideas you would have would be helpful. A lady at work once received a pair of slippers from someone that were made out of maxi pads. They even had non-slip soles! :)

Anything like that would work. Thanks in advance for all clever ideas.

I have ordered a pastry tray from the local bakery and I would like some other ideas for things to serve. My husbands parents are divorced and we would like to keep it as casual as possible because they will be visiting in the morning along with a few other guest. More of a buffet type deal. Thanks a bunch!

I dont want pasta to get gummy and stick together like it has a
tendency to do when cooked for any length of time (probably 30 minutes total). Would it be
better to go ahead and pour the sauce over noodles before I drive
to party? Then add meat balls there? At home I serve pasta on platter or bowel and sauce with meat balls in a different dish. Thanks
for any help.
