You can do a greek theme although decoration might be tricky. You could do 80's, or 40's which are the easiest to set up and dress up for. You could do black/white party where everyone wears black and white. My high school did this once and it came out very very nice decorations are simple and look elegant even though they can be really cheap at party city or target, etc. Hope this helps!

What types of things is he interested in?
Computers? Video games? If so, you could have a LAN party.
Cars?
Think of something that he is really interested then do some research online for ideas for parties.
The sky is the limit on party ideas.

you could do a decades party , like have everyone dress in clthing from the 50's, 60's etc. or you could do a black &white party. or more casual would be like a fiesta. a black light party would be a lot of fun.
