I will probably be using a serving plate of some kind with a bowl for the cocktail sauce. Thanks for your help.

If it is a Christmas party what I do with shrimp is make a shrimp tree. Go to your local craft store and purchase one of those styrofoam cones. Cover the cone with kale. Then just place your shrimp on the cone using toothpicks. If you are feeding a lot of people you can cover the cone with just shrimp or if that would be too many shrimp you can fill in with olives, cherry tomatoes, cheese cubes or anything else that comes to mind. Use something creative for your sauce such a hollowing out a red and a green bell pepper and using them as bowls. You can top the tree off with a slice of a star fruit. Have fun and good luck.

Well, it really depends on how many people you need to feed. If you don't want to buy a tray ready to serve, then get a large goblet, fill it with the sauce and hang shrimp over the rim. Put the goblet on a plate that has butter lettuce leaves which you've spread around and put more shrimp with lemon wedges on top of that. You of course are using ready to eat shrimp.

I would get a large round loaf of hard bread and scoop out the center. Put the cocktail sauce in it. Then put all the shrimp hanging around the edge with lemon slices

place the bowl in middle of serving plate and arrange the shrimp around it. If for christmas party you could use a green or red plate with a green or red bowl for the sauce.

get one of those clear (plastic or glass) serving dishes (usually have 6-8 seperate compartments with a round bowl shape in center of tray) they are round and usually used for vegie and meat trays--put down a leaf of lettuce put chrimp on it and put crushed ice on and around shrimp (enough to keep it chilled not frozen)--put a few lemon slices on the tray it various places and in the center put a bowl of cocktail sauce. Make sure you can put a lid on the sauce--cover it all with plastic wrap unless your tray has a cover with it--then use that--take a few small forks (for the guests to use to pick the shrimp off the tray with)--When you get to the event, uncover and tada!!!

I saw a great presentation using 2 bowls - fill the larger bowl 1/2 way with crushed ice and cover with saran then place the smaller bowl (they used a banded soup bowl) in the middle and push in slightly to create a well - place shrimp around the smaller bowl and include some celery sticks and carrot sticks for color then fill the center with Mango or Japanese sauce for a refreshing surprise from the standard horse radish type.
Mango Sauce
INGREDIENTS
1 mango, peeled and seeded
1 1/2 tablespoons corn syrup
2 tablespoons Thai pepper garlic sauce
DIRECTIONS
Place mango, corn syrup, and sauce in an electric blender. Blend until smooth.
