Happy Holidays too2sassy! One of my ideas is a "Martini Party". When sending out invites[ask each couple]to bring a different Vodka. Then you supply all the "neccessities"! IE; ice, shaker, glasses[you can purchase plastic ones, however..glass is always better!]Vermouth, olives, small onions, lemon twists etc. Or better yet...have each couple bring one of the above mentioned items! Some finger foods and good music..."Voila"! XOXO Moonpie

We have a great time with Texas Hold'em poker, held in a tournament style. Everyone chips in $10 or $20 and the winner takes all. If you have enough players, you might also have a cut for 2nd place.
We've also taken to having a sampling of scotch during this monthly event. Everyone can sample some of the finest single malts.

Wine and cheese tastings can be fun. You can find information on that on the web. There are so many different cheeses and wines, you could try Italian cheeses one night, Spanish another. Scene It is a cool game you play through your DVD player. You could try building gingerbread houses.

Movie night. Select a movie and make a dinner that somehow is connected. "The Italian Job" - yea, Italian food. Shrek -- parfaits. ('cuz nobody doesn't like parfaits.) James Bond - martinis (shaken, not stirred).
