Mmmmmm... the lemon semolina custard cake in phyllo dough sounds good but I have to agree with the other person on this list a nice chocolate mousse served in a champagne glass would make a lovely finish.

Sounds delicious. From your list I would probably go with the Lemon Custard in Phyllo. Your menu has a French feel to it. Creme Brulee (I don't know how to put in the accent marks here) might also be good. Or you could go the apple tart (not pie)glazed in apricot marmalade with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream, route. That was almost a standard on the menus when we lived in France.

I have an idea!! It's super yummy and not too filling! Take yourself some puff pastry and bake it. cut up some stawberries and toss em with some sugar (throw in some kirsch (cherry liquer) if your feelin fancy. Make a light custard.. I don't have a recipe for that since I'm at work but you can get a custard recipe on foodnetwork.com. then just do a little layer thing. I do puff pastry on the bottom then custard then strawberries and repeat that once and it's awesome. and the cool part is that you can make the puff pastry any shape you want to!!

The lemon one... or something else with lemon. The other two both have chocolate and a frosting which would really be too rich. The combination of lemon, custard and phyllo would seem lighter after this very hearty meal.

The people gathered around my table would be: You, Kate, Emily, Tess, Edgar Allen Poe, Abraham Lincoln, Holden Caulfield, Will Smith, MLK jr, Rodney Dangerfield, Neon, and Ryan. ♥ I think they would've all gotten along with my family pretty well, because besides the eccentricness of Poe, all the people I chose are pretty fair induviduals. Ahaha. 2. What would you have served for dinner? (This question was inspired by an amazing macaroon I just munched on that Nora from “A Doll’s House” would absolutely adore, and I would have made certain was offered as a dessert if she could have joined us for Thanksgiving.) All the basics, of course. Mashed Potatoes with gravy, turkey, mac and cheese, dressing with cranberry sauce ♥ 3. Where would the dinner have been held? In my ginat mansion. Actually, I like the idea of having an outside dinner. It would've been in a beautiful setting during night with lights all above so we could see. 4. What would you have done after the meal? Talked to each one of my heroes about life. 5. If you had given a prayer of thanksgiving and expressed your gratitude to your guests, what would you have said to each person gathered around the table? Goodness. I would have expressed to each one of them how glad I am to have met them and how beneficial each one has been to ME in their own way. Thank you for showing me this. Brilliant question, Sky (do you mind me calling you that?). =]

Lemon Semolina Custard Cake seems like it would go good with Chicken.
I'm biased though, any lemon dessert is good with me.

Have you ever hear of Charleston mud pie? It's a chocolate Graham cracker crust with chocolate ice cream and whipped cream all over the top and chocolate sprinkles. Kind of like death by chocolate but it's really good.

Something with chestnuts and chocolate would carry on the earthy theme, can you get sweetened chestnut puree in cans where you are? Or poached pears would be good, poach 'em in red wine and cranberry juice with some star anise, cinnamon and black peppercorns in the liquor, serve with sweetened ricotta, or chocolate sauce.
