i am new to chennai.i want to celebrate this new year with pomp along with my friends in a good hotel.so it would be kind of you to specify some good hotels that are a real value for money,how much they charge for singles and couples,where to get the tickets,events,address etc...thank you....

The best place to celebrate new year is Your Sweet Home with your family and friends. Buy some good food from any home based caterer(there are lot of such caterers in Madras) and buy some drinks celebrate your New Year bash. Never ask your wife cook for the party she will curse you whole year. If you are single never mind still celebrating in your home is the best option. You know why? You and your friends can booze to fullest content still be safe. Imagine you or your friends booze too much and leave the hotel after midnight and land in a vehicle accident. There is nothing like celebrating the new year bash in a safe way and those memories will linger in your mind the whole year. Believe Me Try this.
