Beer, Wine & Spirits - August 2007

I drink once or twice a week to get drunk. I usually dont drink two days in a row. some weeks i may not even drink but for the most part i average a drunk night 2 times a week. what are ur thoughts?

I have been drinking a bottle of whiskey a day at work for two weeks now.And thats not including after or before.And before that, i think ive been drunk along time.months i guess.I really dont like A.A. got any other thoughts.Can i do this cold turkey?

Yes, I kow the law says that ou have to be 21 to drink.I am only 20.But I will be going to a 21 and over bar in a couple of weeks.A friend of mine is coming down (she's 23) and I wanted to have a few drinks with her Can I do that.IF my parents order it and hand it to me? If someone drinks alot, or even occasionally, and if they either quit or stop for a long time, does their liver recover from the alcohol and if so how long would one have to stop drinking?

I'm having a party for my softball team and another team. I'm trying to think of some good team based drinking games so we could have each team play against each other. Besides beer pong and flip cup, what are other good team-based drinking games? And please spare me the "excessive drinking is wrong" posts. I was under the impression that if they overcharged you they had to refund AND replace the item. Yesterday I bought 2 12 packs of Budweiser which was marked up as £10 each but I was charged £11.99 each. I didn't notice til I got home and I'm going back for a refund today, can I expect a £23.98 refund or just the £3.98 difference?

Whenever I get really drunk, I always throw up. I know this is normal for some people, but it's really embarrassing because all my friends think I'm weak and can't handle alcohol. Is it just some people do and some people don't or is there a way to prevent it? I'm only 18 so I haven't been drinking much for very long. Will I get use to it as I get older?

finally got my red, black, green, gold and blue label!!

the red and black are like half full
but the rest aren't open yet.
the green, gold and blue are the new ones =)

i can't wait to crack the green and gold label bottles open.
to taste the fruits of the green and the creaminess of the gold. mmm

i don'y know if i should crack open the blue though
or maybe save it for when i complete my studies

Is there any type of champaign that is alcohol free? I have never ever drank any type of alcohol or beer or anything before and I wanted to know if you can get drunk off of a glass of Champaign if you do get drunk from a half a cup wine! PLz reply quickly :D

Ok so is it honestly THAT bad to have a few drinks at parties on saturday nights? i dont think its horrible. i'm not talking about getting really really drunk. my grades are always up, and i dont get into a lot of trouble most of the time. sometimes i get a headache the day after. but it really cant be that bad for you right? im a girl whos 13 btw.

One of my friends claims Smirnoff has almost no alcohol in it, my other friend states Smirnoff has 5% alcohol volume and Bud light for example has 4% alcohol volume.
