My husband and I received a wine decanter for our wedding. We both love to drink wine, but do not understand how a decanter is used. I know it allows the wine to breathe, and all that good stuff...but how far in advance are you supposed to put the wine into the decanter? Can you pour it in there and leave it in there all the time...or only like before you plan on drinking it or something like that? Please help! Thanks!

I am headed there in a couple weeks with some friends but it looks on the website like arts, crafts, and music is all that is offered. That stuff is good and all, but we would like to have a few (dozen) pints while we are there.

Could anyone with some real world experience of the Irish Fest who could let me know if I will be able to get drunk or not?

I consider myself to be a "heavy drinker," however, I would not consider myself an alcoholic. I drink every day, starting in the late afternoon and then continue until it is time for bed. My usual drink is Vodka mixed with something and beer. I'm just trying to get some perspective on how much others drink, and if they consider themselves a alcoholic. (I do not consider myself one because I do not have a absolute craving for alcohol and I am not an unpleasant person when I am not drinking it).

It was my first time ever getting drunk.
I'm 15. 5'0" 90 lb.s
I took 8 shots of pure vodka.
No chasers either.
I was in the bathroom for 3 hours puking my guts out.
And then I started dry heaving.
Is that really bad?
p.s. i never plan on doing that **** ever again.

I have to pay £5 ($10) a pack of 20 in the UK, and I see international brands of cigarettes online for $10 for 200.

Is it legal to order them from the UK? Are they real cigarettes or cheap cigarettes with fake packaging? Am I likely to incur any taxes?

Also, can anyone recomend and good site they've used before.

I'm drinking tomorrow with mates...my parents dont know, i dont want them to know....its a teen social gathering with my mates...they do it a lot, and i never drink...
I've got a litre of WKD blue...
I'm a light weight...so i'll get VERY drunk of it...I need to get the train home at 10.30pm, the train ride is 20mins long...
Any personal tips on how you sober up really fast so my parents dont find out?

I am going to be in Reims in March, and am interested in doing a Champagne tasting. I am going to be based in Paris, so I only have one day for this. The houses that I have found reccommended are Launois, Pere et Fils, Mercier, Alfred Gratien, Perrier-Jouet, Pommerier, Mailey Grand Cru, Velve Cliquot, Mumm, Tattinger, and Maison Veuve Cliquot-Ponsardin.

Naturally, I don't have time to see all of these - can you reccommend a top 3?
