Beer, Wine & Spirits - August 2007

Hi, im trying to make beer at home but can not find dextrose (corn sugar) to use as priming sugar for fermentation.
I know that methods vary, and some just do it with the natural sugars from the barley malt, but Im using a malt extract and need the sugar, and the closes i can find where I live is splenda (95% dextrose). And I have been told that splenda is no good, but can not find 100% dextrose. neither i was able to find maltodextrin. please help!

Ive tried Korbel Brut Rose for $10 a bottle and really liked that. I am currently looking for Gruet Rose which is also cheap but I can't seem to find it. Anybody else know any other good Rose champagnes?

i went to this house party and i was drunk... i had had whiskey and tequila shots... and i well some beers... i wanted to dance and my dance partner was a stiff... so i found other ways to make myself happy... so i got on top of thepool table and i started dancin and it was well dirty dancin... do i have issues.. i mean do i party too much... is something that i tone down?

My friends always drink Morgan Diets and I can't stand Captain Morgan. I usually have a Malibu Sprite but sometimes it's too strong or sweet for me. Then I just drink Mike's Lemonade but it's so carbonated I can't drink more than two. I don't really care for most beers but I do like Mojitos. Anything else I should try?

I have no idea what the answer is, but I'm guessing that it varies. Approximetly how much alcohol do you think it'd take for me, a 5'3 girl (125 lbs) to get alcohol posioning, and I have a rather low tolerance? I've chugged a huge bottle of Parrot Bay Passion Fruit Rum, and still managed to wake up without a hang over, but I can get drunk off of like 4 beers!

How much alcohol would be cutting it too close?
