I ordered alcohol for my parents anniversary present but I'm not quite 21 yet...would they let me sign for it? I'm older than 18 so I'm technically an adult...so I can sign right?

Technically no. But it's rare that they ask unless you totally look under 21. Don't glam up and look young. Wear sweats and socks and dust some flour on your pants. Don't do your hair. Put your hair up awkwardly. Just politely say that "Oh I've been waiting for this, sorry, I've been cleaning/cooking all day" and act embarrassed. Do NOT say it's for your parents. Say something like "My husband and I are going to love this! It's our anniversary in three days and I want to surprise him." Don't be nervous, be calm. You should be able to get away with it.

And that's a cool thing to think of your parents like that. Unless they ask how you got it! :)

Unfortunately you must be 21 to receive the delivery.

From FedEx:

Circumstances under which shipments will not be delivered
Shipments will not be delivered under the following circumstances:

The recipient is not 21 years of age or older or does not have an acceptable form of ID such as a driver's license, passport or birth certificate.
The recipient shows signs of intoxication.

Bummer! Maybe a neighbor can sign for it? Good luck with this!

I think you better track your shipment. Here is what I found:

Licensee to Consumer. FedEx will accept wine shipments from licensed entities directly to consumers, subject to additional requirements and all applicable laws and regulations. Contact your FedEx account executive for complete details. Shipments of beer or spirits to consumers are prohibited.

When someone ships something and it needs and "adult" signature, normally the delivery person does not check IDs. Unless they have one of those calendars in their vehicle saying the day and year someone must be to be legal, they will not know.
And unless you want a confirmation, they will just leave it on your door if no one is home.
