Ive tried Korbel Brut Rose for $10 a bottle and really liked that. I am currently looking for Gruet Rose which is also cheap but I can't seem to find it. Anybody else know any other good Rose champagnes?

most people who buy Chmpagne or Sparkling wine will get Extra Dry or Brut because they equate these label with quality. First figure out how sweet you want to go. For Desserts I avoid Brut and Extra Dry altogether and get an Italian Spumanti. The sweetness will make the strawberries seem more tart , astringent and succulent. When you look for levels of sweetness in a champagne or Sparkling wine look at the alcohol content. The lower the alcohol the sweeter the wine will be. My choice would be Martini & Rossi Asti Spumante. About $15.00 a bottle.
