and im female. i'll be drinking taaka vodka, and do not want to be wasted, but tipsy. and the problem i have with taaka is that it sometimes doesnt kick in for a while, and then i end up getting trashed cause i end up drinking too much. so what do you recommend?

I have recently gotten into drinking quality whiskeys. I am still learning about the different types and am enjoying the act of trying many different varieties.

For now, I've enjoyed sipping the whiskey's cold. I used to put them on ice, but as the ice melts, the whiskey becomes too watered down.

After opening the bottle, is it bad for quality to stick it in the freezer? Taken from the freezer, it is not necessary to add ice, but if it's bad for the flavor of the whiskey, I will instead buy some bartending equipment.

Does freezing a whiskey have any effect on overall quality or enjoyment if stored for a week or two?

tonight[sunday] i'm going to a party where i will be drinking. i am scheduled to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed on tuesday. i was wondering if they would know that i had been drinking, or if it would effect putting me under. does anyone know if they could tell? or if they check your blood? or what..

I have 2 summers worth of experiance bartending at World's of Fun in Kansas City and it serves very limited possibilities (maybe 20 different liquors). I'm wanting to start a job bartending at one of the local casino's possibly and the job descriptions say I need to have a strong knowledge of drink recipes and different types of alchohol. Is there a home-based training program or something (book or computer) that is a good way to cram my head with recipes and the sort?

my body is so cold as usual. but whenever i drink some alchohole, i feel so warm. but as you know people say wine is good for health but other alchohole is...i'm not sure.
So I just drink a glass of wine a day. but the worry thing is that if i drink a glass of wine it could spoil my body for high calories.
But someone say it's good for my body circulation.
drinking wine is good for my health and diet or not..?

I have recently started having a glass of wine with dinner or right after dinner, and I definitely have a preference for sweet wines. The problem is being able to tell what is what at the wine store. One of the local vineyards here in New York has a scale on the back of their labels indicating the degree of dryness or sweetness, which I find very helpful. Unfortunately, they seem to be the exception and not the rule. It's impractical for me to do a wine tasting and I don't want to have to guess, spending money on a bottle only to get home and find that I don't like the taste. I'm basically looking for sweet wines in the $20 or less range. -And NO, I don't want to drink wine coolers!

Can any one tell me what happened to Salem black label cigarettes from Winston-Salem? They've been sold out everywhere. If they are in fact discontinued, then, why? I haven't found anything on it. About ready for boycott of RJ Reynolds. It's eerie I've looked for quite a while online and even their site and have found no mention of them being discontinued or recalled... I figured I could find some archive some where..
