I like Yuengling Lager and Killian's Irish Red. Can somebody suggest a few more. I've never had Sam Adams Boston Lager. How is that?

Not sure if you're looking for ales as well as lagers, but Watney's Red Barrel and Anderson Valley's Boont are both great ales. Sam Adam's Boston is a good lager which you may as well try. It doesn't strike me as a world-class beer but your mileage may vary. Some of Sam Adam's other beers, particularly their winter ale, are more distinctive.

Somebody else mentioned Fat Tire, made by New Belgium Brewery. If you can find it, get their winter seasonal called 2 Below -- a very tasty, creative ale!

I'm guessing since you've had Yuengling you probably live on the east coast, so you may not be able to get a lot of the great microbrews that we have here in the west. I think you may be able to get Fat Tire amber (from Colorado) or Sierra Nevada pale (from California). Alaskan amber is pretty good from the tap but not as good from the bottle. In my opinion, the best amber beer is Mac and Jacks from Seattle. If you ever get out to Washington, definitely try that one!

The Sam Adams is pretty good. You could also try Newcastle Brown, Abita and Blue Paddle.
