One wine is chokecherry at 2 weeks and the other is rhubarb and is less than a week. There is a skim of mold on the surface. Any ideas. Joyce

Or varnish?
Let's face it.
It tastes of nothing.
Rather than Stolichnaya or Absolut, I may as well save cash and buy loads more of the cheapie crap.
I only want to get off my face anyway.

Ok, I've got water, sugar, wine-yeast, 1-lemon-per-gallon and nutrient[vit B1], but yet I've got a stuck fermentation; what does one do now to get it going? 4 months it's been sitting there now. It's not too cold and most of the time it's around 75 degrees Farenheight.

i witnessed police arrest a women who was legally drunk, not obnoxious or out of control, simply technically drunk, arrested and taken away DESPITE the fact it was in a hotel bar, and she had a room upstairs.
she planned on going to her room after a few drinks, until the police showed up.

I made some simple syrup (sugar water) recently and put it in bottles in my cabinet. My mom says that my grandmother used to put it in the refrigerator because it would "go bad". However, except for maybe bugs getting to it, I do not see how either sugar, water, or both combined could go bad. Anyone know?
