Save your money, Silentrunning. Carry on drinking the meths.
Your bench was empty this morning. I hope you're OK. Perhaps the Sally Army took you in for a nice mug of tea and a cheery sing-song.

If you're mixing it, there is absolutely no point in buying premium vodka. You just can't tell. Not that I'm particularly proud of it, but I was a bartender for a long time, and from time to time it became necessary to 'off-pour', or serve somthing other than what was ordered, so I was able to prove it to myself first hand. Go ahead and get the cheap stuff. One thing, though. The first and second worst hangovers I've ever had (and some of them have been epic) have been on vodka and Red Bull. I don't think it was just coincidental...

I have found that Tesco's own brand is the best value for money.
You can get very cheap vodkas, but I have found that the cheap ones are more likely to leave you with a hangover.
The more expensive ones tend to be better fitered and not leave you feeling so crap next day.

Let's try an experiment.
Buy enough Redbull for two bottles of vodka.
Buy one good botlle of Stoli and one cheap and cheerful bottle of russian raindeer piss.
Tonight, get shitfaced on the stoli and red bull.
Tomorrow get pissed on the other.
Then, on monday morning, make up your mind which one to buy for monday night !

Holy cow, DREAK. Jagermeister & Red Bull? So you're hallucinating AND spastic? Aren't there ways to accomplish the same thing without the nasty hangover?
Have fun, SR.

true but the more expensive stuff is usually filtered better, which i found cuts back on the hangovers. You'll get as drunk with any of them, but the more expensive stuff does taste better than the $8 gallon jugs.
