Give me one good reason why anyone should be a vegetarian or a vegan. I have thought about it long and hard, and I cannot come up with a single reason. Do tell.

I placed a box of crackers in my juicer for a snack and I can't get anything to come out and my juicer has begun to smoke, can you give me any tips on what I might be doing wrong?

I bought a Black & Decker Rice Cooker Plus at a garage sale but the box didn't have the instructions. I'm trying to cook brown rice but don't understand the markings on the side...

I have a few bottles of Guiness in my fridge, and I've forgotten about them for the last 5 or 6 months. There is no expiration date on them, and I'm too lazy to go to the store, when there is potential tasty beer 20 feet away. Anyone know for sure?...QUICKLY! I'M THIRSTY!

I want to but a grill, but I do more cooking on the inside that I do on the outside. And I love grilled meat with that charcoal or smoky flavor to it. Is there a grill you can buy that you can put wood chip or charcoal (hey, I'm just asking) in to give your food that outdoor grilled flavor? If there is, where do I buy one from?

My local health food store has a "mock chicken salad" that I find very tasty. I've asked them for preparation hints, but they won't divulge. I mainly want to know how to get the tofu to have the correct texture (do I freeze first?), so that it absorbs flavor and doesn't crumble. Here's a list of ingredients from the label...

Organic tofu, celery, red onion, veganaise, nutritional yeast, safflower oil, soy sauce, & spike.

My bf is turning 25 . He works second shift so he gets home around midnight every night. His b'day will fall on a Saturday and I would like to throw a successful surprise party for him, inviting his close friends.
