like Red Bull, Monster, Rock Star, etc. frequently. Do they really help you to stay awake. I've been drinking Red Bull and it seems like it doesn't work as much as it did in the beginning when I first tried it.

I haven't been to McDonalds in a long time, and I must say the coffee blend they are using tastes much better. In fact, I would say it's my favorite cup of coffee. Does anyone know anything about the McDonald's Premium Roast Coffee they use? It probably is a special blend, but I wonder if it originates from an outside supplier I would recognize. Can anyone working at McDs take a look at the bag before they brew it? Can I buy it somewhere. I live in northern Ohio if there is a regional issue.

Years ago (7 to be exact), when I was a meat eater...I tried chitterlings. It was the worst thing I had ever tasted in my life. For those of you who don't know what "chitterlings" aka "chitlin's" are, they are pig intestines. It had a faint smell of poop, yet I tried it anyway. Yuck. The texture was chewy, gummy-like. To this day I get queasy thinking about having had something so vile in my body.

What have you eaten that was digusting?

I have some great recipes that call for dry white wine.I'm a recovering alchoholic and don't want to take the chance with having alcohol in the house. Please give me some great substitutions that I could use , that would not alter the taste.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a slurpee addiction. I have heard of people getting "brain freezes" from them, but I have never had one. Can you please tell what it is like to have one? And if you know, what causes a brain freeze?

I've never made oatmeal raisin cookies before and I am looking for a really good recipe for them. I see some recipes where they turn out chewy & some recipes where they turn out more firm...I'm not sure which is better. I am making them for someone special for their birthday since these are their favorite type of cookie & I want them to be delicious. Thanks for any help you can give.

I'm not very fond of eating meat, and sometimes I find myself not eating any at all. It's not because of the cruelty of animals even though that is sad, but because I don't like the taste or thought of eating something that was alive. Fish, turkey, and roast beef are pretty much the only meats I like. Will I be missing out on certain nutrients if I don't eat meat very often?
