I haven't been to McDonalds in a long time, and I must say the coffee blend they are using tastes much better. In fact, I would say it's my favorite cup of coffee. Does anyone know anything about the McDonald's Premium Roast Coffee they use? It probably is a special blend, but I wonder if it originates from an outside supplier I would recognize. Can anyone working at McDs take a look at the bag before they brew it? Can I buy it somewhere. I live in northern Ohio if there is a regional issue.

There were a bunch of news articles in March where Consumer Reports did a taste test and picked McD's coffee over Starbucks.
In Washington state I believe McD's serves SBC (Seattle's Best Coffee) coffee which is actually owned by Starbuck's.

My understanding, the coffee blends vary from state to state and from country to country. The coffee brewed is not the same and it is not just McD that practices this but most other fast-food companies too, even the cafe chains practices this. This is to suit the taste buds of the local people of the particular area.
This applies too for food, especially McD. Certain country have something else as compared to one country. Example, McD Phiippines sells food items with spaghetti, in Malaysia is has rice porridge. Thot you'd like to know.
