This question is usually asked to me right after I have to explain to someone that I am a vegetarian. I as a vegetarian personally eat the same things as everyone else except meat, poultry, fish, and I only have eggs and milk when it is backed into a pastry or some form of bread product.

I am hosting a baby shower and there is this game where you freeze plastic babies in ice. In the game, you give all your guests an ice cube with a plastic baby in the middle. The first cube to melt, releasing their baby, yells "my water broke". Last night I tried freezing my plastic babies and they just kept floating to the top. So I froze a tray of 1/2 filled water. Once frozen, I put the babies in an empty slot covered by a hardened cube and then refilled with water. This worked somewhat. But the cubes looked deformed. There must be a better way. Anyone have any suggestions?

It's actually a fabulous pudding. Reputedly, Princess Di's favorite. I've tasted many variations over the years, in Great Britain and down South, but never got the recipe. I would like to try and make one myself to surprise my family. Thanks.

I was at Albertson's yesterday, and they were selling 2 lb. bags of frozen "on-the-shell" shrimp for $2.99. I bought two of the 3 remaining bags, because it was such a great deal. So now, I have 4 lbs. of frozen shrimp, and now all I need is the perfect recipe(s). Thanks!

I was making this vietnamese beef stock called Pho and after I was done, I tasted it and it tasted like WATER! I added so many bones...probably about 5 pounds of them. The stock was rich as hell...it turned into an almost rock hard jelly when I chilled it. I keep hearing that you should add more bones to the stock to make it more flavorful but my theory is that the richness suppresses the flavor of the stock. I use ginger, oxtails, onions, bay leaf, and various spices to flavor my stock...what should I do to make a stock that tastes AND feels good?
