with coke or tonic. I like it with diet coke. You can put it in coffee w/ cream and sugar (Irish coffee). Thats great, too.

I prefer to drink good old Uncle Jack with Diet Coke though I can highly recommend mixing it with Canada Dry. Also, mixing it with either fresh apple juice, or fizzy apple juice such as Appletiser (an Apple Jack) goes down a treat. Plain old Sprite or Lemonade mixed with Jack is always a good combination too - guess I like Jack Daniels?

On the rocks is the best, with coke if you can't stand the taste. Better yet just have Jameson Irish Whiskey, much better than JD.

Well I don't drink it-but my Partner is a serious J.D enthusiast-it has to be drunk straight up (no ice or mixer to ruin it!!).
Water is added to Scotch or other whisky but not Bourbon like J.D-has to be neat.

I have been told that the correct way to drink whiskey is not to put ice in it as it ruins the flavour if you want it cool you put water into it thats why if you order whiskey in apub they will give that little jug with iced water in it .

In a short, wide glass over a couple of ice cubes. This allows the whiskey to breathe. It lets you get the aroma whilst you enjoy your fine Tennessee sippin' whiskey.
