I have a couple bottles of champagne in my house in a cold section. I opened a bottle and it tasted like medicine. Did the champagne go bad?

I am using Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie mix. Since we are vegetarian, I am not putting any eggs inside and instead substituting with milk. The consistency is proper, but whenever I bake the cookies are burned under any circumstances. I keep them in the oven for less than 5 minutes at 250 degrees and it does not help. Suggestions?

The store will be geared towards young people buying their first small kitchen appliances (toasters, pitcher, cutlery, ect), and will supply instructions on each item, cook books, guides, ect. I want it to be kinda funky, but without being tacky. Any ideas?
I've come up with a few:
Nouveau Mod Con
Les Gizmos
Pass That Gadget
Whisks 'n Gizmos

If all candy that was once flavored as "lemon" would be replaced with a new flavor, what would it be?? No one really likes lemon anyway.

Or better yet, when did a fish cease to be an animal?

I am a bit freaked out. I have been a vegetarian for over 6 years, and I have never heard (before Y!Answers) the idea of vegetarians EATING sea animals.

Vegetarians do not eat animals. Fish are animals. Vegetarians do not eat fish.

Having a name for people who do not eat any other animals than sea life is fine, but it has nothing to do with vegetarianism.

“ ANIMAL- noun
Etymology: Latin, from animale, ANIMATE,
1 : any of a kingdom of living things including many-celled organisms and often many of the single-celled ones (as protozoans) that typically differ from plants, and in having the capacity for Spontaneous Movement and motor responses to stimulation”

This isn’t completely rhetorical, and I expect to have people complain at me, but someone tell me what this about. When did this concept become taken seriously by vegetarians? How can a person who eats animals (have they fins or legs) be considered a vegetarian?

Soy products tend to upset my stomach, so I do not eat a lot of it. I exercise regularly, so I need to make sure that I get enough protein in my diet. I am looking for some good protein alternatives to meat and fish. I do eat low fat dairy products, and a few eggs (limited portions due to cholesterol). Do you have any good ideas for variety of protein sources for a vegitarian meal?? Thanks

The instruction booklet says you can add sugar to the brew basket with the tea, but when I do that the sugar ends up in a clump and the tea in the pitcher is weak and light in color. I tried adding the sugar after the tea started steeping, but it still didn't work right. And if I wait and add sugar after the tea is finished brewing it doesn't dissolve like it should since the tea has gotten ice cold at that point. I am really starting to get annoyed and I feel silly that I can't figure this one out on my own. Please help! Thanks...

I want to incorporate red wine into my dinner routine but I have no clue how to handle red wine. Do you refridgerate it before and ofter opening or never at all? How long can you store it before it is no longer good? Will the original cork keep the air out of it once you have opened it? Any tips would be appreciated!
