I will say shorter, you might notice that when you pour some diet coke it makes more foam than regular coke, which implies more carbonate leaving the liquid.

I guess this effect is caused by the sweetner.

The artificial sweeteners in the diet coke cause it to be more "Sticky". So the surface tension is a lot greater than in normal coke and the bubbles which make up the fizz stay there longer making it appear as though it is fizzyer.

Not sure what's up with your carbonated drink questions??? If I were you, I'd conduct my own experiment and find out for yourself. It might just be fun.
