I cant think of anything else?

That whole "four pints of vegetable oil" thing has spawned a full on crisp addiction for me. Perhaps even enough to kick my chocolate habits? But whats your faviorute - crisps or chocolate?

You can buy all kinds of nuts in the shells or without (in the U.S.) But why are cashews not sold in the shells; they do have shells like any other kind of nut.

Why can't I find them find them in shells, even in an imports stores?

Hi!

I'm getting married in November and the place that we have chosen to have our ceremony and reception specifies that they have to provide the food. They have a strictly Vegetarian selection and will serve no meat. However, they are willing to fix any vegetarian selections that I would like.

I would be fine with this as I love vegetarian dishes. However, none of the attendees will be vegetarians and there will be a few people who are die-hard meat and potato lovers (specifically, my husband-to-be).

I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a couple of vegetarian dishes that even those die-hard people would love. Something so darn yummy it will make them forget they are eating vegetarian :)

Any suggestions?

I have tried a number of vegatable broths on the market and I use Swanson's an Knorr's. But these products are expensive. Has anyone tried making it themselves? How did it turn out? Was it more or less expensive? How long did you have to cook it?

As in, the contents of the tin emptied out onto a plate with a sprig of parsley? Can't they come up with something more imaginative?

They do make me laugh though. The other day I saw a tin of tongue and the tongue was just sliced up and hovering in thin air, with "serving suggestion" underneath it!!! How do you make tongue float?

Lets start a campaign for "real serving suggestions"! -or just do away with them altogether -I do have a mind of my own you know!

Just sat through a painful lunch, where all that was provided was cheese sandwiches, and the one thing I know (or think I do), is that cheese and milk products don't always go down too well with people from Japan. Any suggestions? They have to be acceptable rather than clever, our catering staff aren't up to sushi.
