I once saw martha stewart storing the leaves between kosher salt,does that work and how long?
or if you have some advice.
I also have thai basil,which for me is hard to find and i really like it.

I could not get the wine yeast (which was past it best before date in 1994) to produce any significant fermentation action. I therefore tried some fast action bread yeast, and it really is doing the business. Is anyone able to tell me whether this yeast will be able to convert 1.10 SGR all to alcohol or am I going to have a sweet tasting raspberry and bramble wine?

Well i have alot of cayenne peppers and jalapeno's.
And the sun isnt really out and hot much more.
I need some help on drying them out.
can i just hang them in a room from a string.
Once they are dried out should i store them or leave them on the string.
any other tips or tricks would help thanks.
I really hate to freeze fresh,they dont seem to be the same once thawed.

I actually love oatmeal and ever since I discovered it I can't even bring myself to look at Quaker Oats, even though McCann's takes awhile to cook. I never even knew there was such a thing as "steel cut" and now I know why Irish "porridge" looks so different from the American version of oatmeal.

ive been given a frozen trout,(caught and frozen within 2 hours,been in freezer a week)but it still has scales and guts.if i thaw it out and remove scales and guts is it ok to eat?i wasnt sure as guts normally removed right away.please help! thank you
