malts have malt in them. i prefer shakes. i don't like the tast of malt

Malts are thicker than shakes and they have malt in them. If you look on the store shelf in your super market at a product called "Olveltine"....that is what malt is. Taste it in some milk and you will see the difference that malt is compared to regular chocolate milk.

Malted milk is malted barley, wheat flour and whole milk evaporated into a powder. Shakes can be made from ordinary milk mixed with powder or concentrate although these drinks would simply be considered "flavoured milks" in most places ^_^

Malts have malt powder or liquid in them. They are also a lot higher in calories than shakes.

A malt has malt powder added--either chocolate or vanilla--my personal fav is a chocolate malt with chocolate ice cream, chocolate milk and chocolate malt powder!!

malts are more sweeter, they had this powder stuff to it to make it more rich than a shake. i personally think shalkes are better though.
