The Vintner grows the grapes.
The Wine Maker or Wine Master makes the wine from those grapes.

The proper name for wine maker is winemaker. Vintners produce or market wine.

I think you answered your own question.
I prefer the term winegrower (placing the emphasis on the vineyard, with the winemaker merely allowing the fruit to express itself without too much stylistic intervention).
A vintner is a merchant. A vintner neither grows grapes nor makes wine.
A viticulturist / vineyard manager / farmer grows grapes.
A winemaker / enologist makes wine, although in larger wineries an enologist is a more specialized lab testing role.
A wine master is a meaningless term whose meaning varies with context and speaker. It can mean someone in charge of a collection of ~finished~ wines in a restaurant or auction house or elsewhere. It can be erroneously applied to winemakers by those unfamiliar with wine jargon.

Not sure..I know someone knowledgeable about wine is a vinologist but I think the actual wine-makers are usually grape-farmers.
