I'm having a baby shower for a friend next weekend, and because she's having a boy, I wanted to do blue punch.

I'd either like something that is blue on its own, or possible a punch recipe that is almost colorless that I could add blue food coloring to make it blue punch!

I'd prefer something you've actually tried as opposed to something you just googled. I found a few recipes for blue punch, but some of them sound a bit odd. I'd like something you personally have tried -- so you can tell me what it actually tastes like!!

if you were faced with this circumstance as an only option, what would you choose to eat?

1) a chicken raised on pasture out the sun from a local family organic farm or
2) 20 lbs. of vegetables grown on a commercial farm with depleted soil, sprayed with pesticides, and who don't treat their workers fairly?

I found a coffee cake recipe on the back of a box of cake flour a few years ago. It was the best and easiest coffee cake I've ever made. It used sour cream and cake flour. I cannot find the recipe anywhere. Any ideas? I've tried www.softasilk.com and www.swansdown.com

I went to Taiwan for the summer and loved their ai-yu jelly as a refreshing summer drink! I bought some ai-yu seeds home to make them myself. I don't think I have the steps right, because the jelly does not congel at all. Can someone help me? Here is my recipe:

half cup of au-yu seeds
7 cups of boiled water, cooled to room temperature
I have a cloth strainer and added the seeds into the strainer, put it in the pot of cooled water and squeezed and massaged for 10 minutes. The water did turn a little amber in color and seems to have thickened a little. I put it in the fridge and the next morning it was still sloshy.

My question is, are my proportions about right? and do I have to boil the concoction afterwards (I am thinking about geletin an agar agar, and how they need boiling water).

I know I can buy the canned ai-yu jelly, but I'd like to be able to make my own. Thanks a lot!

This was a recipe that used to be on the side of the Quaker Crunchy Corn Bran box. It's a killer muffin, and I've made it all the time - my kids love it. But now, the new boxes of the cereal don't have that recipe on it! If anyone has the recipe, it would be greatly appreciated - I can't find it in any internet searches. Thank you!
