I am originally from Buffalo,New York where you cannot get a bad pizza there anywhere unless it is from pizza hut or some kind of national chain.
I have tried New York Pizza in downtown Denver, where they didn't even cook the veggies they put on toppings of the pizza ..yes raw onions, green peppers and uncooked mushrooms...are they out of their minds?
What is wrong with people in Denver that they don't know how to cook a good pizza?
Cheese and pepporini are standard options for a pizza in Buffalo, out here you have to pay extra for pepporini..unheard of .
Their sauce out here taste like paste, and they skimp out on the cheese also.
Anthony's pizza uses too much garlic ,not enough sauce or cheese and the crust is too thin.
The only place that I have tasted a pizza somewhat similar to Buffalo,New York pizza is Romano's Restaruant in Littleton on Windemere drive off of Littleton Blvd. They also have good sauce and meatballs.Kudos to them!!!! *****

In the pub last night, a mate of mine reckons it would NOT decrease it's 40% abv, he claims that if you poured a bottle of vodka into a swimming pool or whatever and you drank ONLY SOME OF THE WATER, you would have drunk the same amount as if someone was to drink a full bottle, I reckon you would still not have drunk 40% as the water would have diluted the vodka, What do you think?

I've noticed that lots of chicken recipes begin with the instruction to first rinse the chicken and then pat dry. But I don't see the reason for either. Surely, if there are germs on the surface, they'll all be killed and the meat sanitized by the high cooking temperatures. And what would be the reason to "pat dry"? Surely any water on the surface would quickly evaporate. I'd appreciate your opinions about this.

I place "my" recipe first, then the results and finally what I want to archive

The recipe:
3.5 Cups of flour
1.5 Cups of warm water
1 Tablespoon of dry yeast
1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
1 pinch of salt

Basically the recipe says this:
Dissolve the dry yeast in the warm water, let it rest 5 minutes and then add it to the flour and also add the oil and the salt, Mix it whith your hands and when the dough is no more a sticky mass let it rest untill it doubles its size and then cut it in half and make the pizzas.
The Results:
I have a pizza dough that is very thin, pale and soft even after cooking at 260Celcius for 30 mins... and without flavor. Is not too bad but it could be better.

What I want to archive:
A dough a little thick (like 1 or 1.5 cm of thickness) and a little like the PanPizza of Pizza Hut, Crusty outside and soft inside or like the Baguette Bread, or something that rises and toast a little while in the oven (with some flavor too)
You can write your recipe or advises
