Well, at least you are thinking ahead. Most grocery stores, Jewel, Dominick's, etc. as well as a lot of restaurants such as Boston market and other large chains provide a total dinner package. In fact, sometimes it is less than making it yourself. It usually contains the turkey, mashed and sweet potatoes, green bean casserole and a choice of pies. Call your local stores and restaurants now and I bet they could tell you when you can pre-order. If you are not well, make sure you have someone available to pick things up for you.

Depending on how much you can afford you might also want to see if there are any cooking schools in the area. You might be able to hire a young cook to come in and cook dinner for you.

Good luck and early HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Do you have Morrison's or Piccadilly's cafeteria? They will do you up right! Yummy, too. You could just pick up the trimmings and cook your own turkey so the house smells..just right..Just get the breast, smoked,or whatever your preference at the supermarket.I will break the wishbone, for lucky you ..to have a wonderful daughter to enjoy this meal with you.
