Is that the stuff with the mushroom soup? No way! Everything on the holidays is homemade and fresh. I buy green beans and cook them with bacon or ham, onions, and a potato.

my friends and i tried it several times,,, the first time i did it,,, well the recipe doesn't say, unthaw the frozen green beans,, so we didn't eat that one,, then the next year, my friend made it with canned green beans==too mushy,, so the third year, her daughter in law made it,,, and we all ate it,, so now she is the only person allowed to bring it to the parties!!!! but we have lots of good laughs every year about green bean casserole!!!

I never understood that stuff. I don't think it's all that great and it's around every holiday. So, no I don't make it or eat it.

My niece always brings it to Xmas dinner at my sister-in-law's house. Frankly, I am sick of it. It doesn't show a lot of creativity. Maybe that's one reason why we went to Reno last Christmas!
