Just how MUCH is sherry used to flavour and colour Scotch Whisky? .. I Mean, we all know it is " matured in aged sherry casks" etc. But if you leave an empty whisky glass for a while then sniff it, it smells very strongly of cheap sherry. So I stongly suspect that sherry is being used both as a colouring agent ( along with caramel, I believe) and also as a flavouring. Whisky originates as a colourless fluid, I know . So Im curious just how much they use Sherry during their mystical "blending" process to ensure consistent colouring.

I love McDonalds and always have i eat it 3 times a weak. mainly because it is economical and time saving. You go to a classy restrauant YOU have to make reservations...and the food takes ages... in a fast food joint you come eat n leave any time. and i have head all that it makes u fat... and guess what I am not Fat......why cant people who dont like McDonalds leavit alone. No one is forcing you to eat.. but why are you preventing other people from eating it!!!!!

Why is it with McVities Jaffa's you can eat the chocolate, then the bun bit underneath, then suck on the jelly orange bit. But with Jacobs it all just falls apart! So not sood.

I'm eating them but only outta bordom not cause they're the best!

What do you reckon?

I made some Croissants at the weekend, i had a recipe which a friend had used before and they came out perfectly, mine however....well lets just say if anyone needs any bricks for extending their houses etc give me a bell!

I am using an electric conventional oven and follow the instruction on the receipe book but the cake always come out to be hard on the top. Wondering is it becos of the temperature - am using the option where heat released from top and bottom.
